This tower is segregated into two different sections that are called as wards. As far as security is concerned, there is a change of guards regularly which is considered as a good attraction by the travelers. The guards placed as security stand for hours and too stiffly. Each guard marches away from their position when the duties are changed and it is a serious occasion. The Windsor Castle is very much open to public for the viewing particularly when royal family members are not in residence. However, the rights of visiting Windsor Castle are restricted.
