Climate of India
The climate and weather of India is diverse and can also reach up to extremes. The Indian climate is significantly temperate as compared to others. As India lies at the north of the Equator, therefore the southern part of the India is much warmer when compared to other regions of India.
Besides this, the water bodies cover India from three different sides thus providing the peninsular region a marine climate. However; the climate of India changes frequently, thus providing it people great relief from extreme temperatures conditions. The different seasons and weathers found in India are given below:
Summers:
The summer season starts in the month of March and ends in June in India. At the time of summers, the temperature can go up to average thus causing intolerable heat. Another major drawback in the summers is the dust-laden which can completely hamper views. Most of the Indians head towards hill stations to get a relief from heat.
Winters:
This chilly season starts from October and ends in February. This is the perfect time for visiting India. The weather is very soothing and pleasant at this point of time. Moreover, it is a good time to enjoy in India.
Monsoon:
This season lasts for three months that is July and September. It is a rainy season with heavy down pours. The major drawback is high flooding in few areas of the country. It makes it quite difficult for the tourists as the monsoons durations may vary in various regions.
